Born on 25th September, 1944 as a talented son of Late Shri Ganga Prasad Jaiswal and Late Smt. Chandrakali Devi, Sri Sri Prakash Jaiswal is today a well known name in Indian Politics. He completed his education from D.A.V. College, Kanpur. He got married to Smt. Maya Rani on 28th April 1967. He has two sons and one daughter.

The life of Sri Sri Prakash Jaiswal as political and social worker has been full of struggles. Sri Prakashji is positive, assertive, active, outgoing, and motivating. He does things, stir things up, takes action, goes after what he wants, makes things happen.

He is kind and sympathetic. His charm, manners and carefree nature will impress many. He is compassionate and unless pushed to the wall, will rarely hurt any one. He is gentle, sensitive and  emotional. He is always ready to help the needy, without expecting any favours in return.
